Who We Are

Who We Are:

In 1990 Elizha called out to God, after experiencing her rebirth.  At the time she had already been suffering from depression for twelve years.  She wanted to work for Him.  She had no idea what she would do, and it didn’t matter to her what He might ask of her, she just wanted to do God’s will with everything in her.

God heard her cry and she and her family relocated from Alberton to a farm just outside of Meyerton.  It was there that God took her on a journey that she could not have dreamt up in her wildest imaginings.

God walked a spiritual road with her and trained her.  He taught her about dissociation and what it is step by step.  He also showed her what He says about it in His Word.

And so, her ministry was born.

She walked her own road to healing and in her wrestling with God, He showed her teachings in His word that filled her with astonishment.  It completely matched what she was practically experiencing in her own life as well as in the lives of others.

Today it is still her deepest passion to help people and to accompany them so that they can understand their own healing journeys and begin to help themselves.  In the process they grow and mature spiritually and thus receive emotional healing at the feet of Jesus and under the active guidance of the Holy Spirit.

All glory and honour to our Father!

Where my pen name and our Ministry name comes from:

I prayed and asked our Father which name I should use as my author’s name.  Artists often use their maiden names and I wondered what I should do.

One evening during this time, while I was brushing my teeth and contemplating the question, I clearly heard in English, “Take My name and shield yourself.”  I realized immediately that it was our Father who had spoken to me.  I immediately asked, “Father, why are You speaking to me in English?”  (As I am Afrikaans through and through) His answer was, “If I had spoken to you in Afrikaans, you would have thought that it might have been your own thoughts.”  It was so clear that I began to cry.

I knew that our Father wanted me to add an HA to my name, which would indicate His protection of me.

My pen name thus became Elizha.  Elize and HA combined.

I now prefer to use this name and in doing so to hide myself in our Father.  Not only for His protection, but also because I know that all honour and glory for this information and revelation is His alone.  I have only been an instrument in His hand.

I fully understand why our Father gave me the name Elizha.  This is not an easy ministry and I believe that when tongues start moving against me, that our Father protects me.

I praise His wonderful name and give Him all the glory!
