What We Believe
What we believe:
We believe in the originally written, God-inspired Old and New Testament (All sixty-six books). We accept this as the highest and final authority for faith and abundant life.
We believe in one God, ever existing as three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
We believe in Jesus Christ, received from God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born out of the virgin Mary. We believe that He is truly God and truly became man.
We believe that God created man in His own image. And that through sin man implemented the penalty for sin, namely physical and spiritual death.
We believe in the principle of a heterosexual relationship between one natural man and one natural woman within the boundaries of a legal marriage.
We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sin, in our place, according to Scripture, so that everyone who believes in him shall be saved and shall apply the Word to their lives and thus begin standing in righteousness because of His blood shed for the remission of sin.
We believe that Jesus Christ physically rose from the dead and ascended to heaven where He now lives as our great High Priest and Intercessor.
We believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that everyone who has accepted Jesus Christ, through faith, and repented of sin, has been born again of the Spirit of God and can therefore be called children of God.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, who clothes us with power and provides access to the gifts of the Spirit in order to enable our ministries as He sees fit. We believe in the God ordained offices of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Shepherd and Pastor.
We believe in the resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous, the eternal blessedness of those who have been bought by Christ’s blood and the eternal damnation of those who have rejected the salvation gift of God.
We believe that rebirth and a personal confession of Christ as one’s Savour is crucial to the commencement of one’s sanctification journey.
We believe that the Bible teaches that without holiness, no one shall see God. We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, albeit progressive, work of grace that starts with the new birth and continues until the completion of our salvation and our union with Christ in heaven.
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ implemented two sacraments – the Baptism in water and Holy Communion, that should be observed in obedience and as a lasting witness to the most cardinal facts of the Christian faith. Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water as a confession of his or her identification with Christ’s death and resurrection; and the Lord’s Holy Communion is a participation in the elements that symbolise our Saviour’s broken body and shed blood, as a reminder of His sacrificial death till he returns.
We believe that provision was made for Godly healing in the Old Testament and that Godly healing is included as an integral part of the Gospel.
We are open to further truth, as the Holy Spirit might enlighten in the Scriptures.
Controversial Matters :
Certain faith movements are not in line with our creed and with this we make clear what our position is regarding these controversial matters:
Judaism: We do not follow this teaching and way of seeing, simply because I had a dream in which our Father revealed to me that the enemy uses this belief to abort ministry.
